A South African community brand doing work on the ground that most people never see. Grow Brand built the identity and digital platform to change that — giving their mission a presence that matches the work.



Straatwerk had a clear mission but a brand that didn't yet show it. Their work was visible on the ground — but their digital presence wasn't keeping pace. The challenge was to build a brand that earned trust quickly and communicated the depth of their work to both community members and supporters.
We approached this project with storytelling at the centre. The brand identity was built to feel grounded — not polished for the sake of it, but purposeful. Typography, colour, and tone were chosen to speak directly to the communities Straatwerk serves, while maintaining the credibility needed to attract partnerships and funding.
The website was structured to guide two very different user types: those looking for support, and those wanting to contribute or partner. Clear user flows, direct language, and a mobile-first build ensured the platform worked for everyone, wherever they were accessing it from.
